It's YOUR Wedding So Customize It! Have a Custom Jewelry Designer Help You Out.

I have found that some of my favorite weddings that I've been to and the ones that stick with me the most are the ones that are customized to the couple. Last weekend, I went to a wedding of a couple that loves wine. They personalized their wedding around this by having a "guestbook" of wine bottles to open on various anniversaries that the guest signed, place cards for the guest held down by wine corks, and centerpieces of wine glasses with floating candles.
Another way to add some customization to your wedding is with custom jewelry. This is a way to have wedding jewelry made just for you. Simone and Son takes into account YOUR personal style and budget. Check them out and let a custom jewelry designer help you customize your wedding even more with custom wedding jewelry to fit you as a couple perfectly.

Send Out Your Lingerie Shower Invitations and Get Ready for Some Fun!

Are you wanting to have a lingerie shower to celebrate your upcoming wedding? These super fun parties are becoming really popular. They are a ton of fun! Here's a couple of tips to make your party a success:

1. Send out the lingerie shower invitations a month to a month in a half before the date of the party. Ask guests to RSVP by a date that is two weeks before the party so you have a head count regarding food and drinks.

2. Pick a fun theme, such as "Pretty in Pink", "Aloha!" or "Vintage Love". This makes a great central theme for decorations.

3. When you send out your invitations, send out sizes. This is a a great way to make sure that guests aren't having to play the guessing game when it comes to your undergarments.

4. Keep your guest-list exclusive. Make sure that everybody that is on the list is somebody that you would feel comfortable receiving lingerie from. This means grandma might have to sit this one out.

5. Have fun! This is a great way to hang out with your gal pals before your big day. It's also a fantastic way to load up on intimates before your wedding night and honeymoon!

Cool Party Lighting

Hey there! I found one more neat chandelier lighting design tonight that I felt like sharing =) This one is easier then the last blog I put up and It works for indoor OR outdoor use!

DIY: chandelier
1 hula hoop (spray painted) + 2 strings of icicle lights and black electrical tape = magnificent chandelier. Awesome!

*NOTE: I did not create this. Please click on the link below the photo to visit the source =)

The only materials you need are one's that could be found in your garage or shed! Spray paint a hula hoop a color that you like. I would recommend a tan or white to match the lighting. Grab two sets of icicle lighting and black electrical tape. I would also suggest painting the tape the same color as the hula hoop. Tape the lights on to the hula hoop and there you have it! Questions? Check out the creators site: CLICK HERE

Unique DIY Chandelier Project

Hello readers! I figured I would share with you a neat idea that I found while searching online for craft ideas. I love DIY projects and today I'm sharing with you how you can create a neat chandelier design! There are sooo many ideas out there but I had to go with just one. I picked a really pretty bright colored attention grabber =) Ha ha!

It definitely makes a statement in which ever room you choose to use it in. It doesn't necessarily have to be in this color either but it does look great!

*NOTE: This is NOT my creation. As I stated in my last blog, I am very busy right now with wedding planning, my child, etc so for about another month I won't be crafting unless it is wedding related! Please click on the link below the photo and give this person the credit =) Thank you!

Back to the project...

It does not appear to say how much all the supplies will cost but I am going to assume that this will still be a little cheaper then if you were to go buy a similar chandelier. The materials needed are as follows:

Lots of long strands of beads (marti-gras, wooden beads, etc. all work)
Metal hanging garden basket
A spool of thin gauge wire
Some wire outters
A wire clothes hanger
A pendant light kit
A metal chain (used to hang the light fixture)
Light fixture mounting bracket, loop and bolt
A light fixture ceiling cap

Now follow her steps on her site as she walks you through the process. The end results are nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be trying something similar when we move into our first house =) Good luck!

Cute DIY Tank Top Idea

Hello everyone! Since its spring I thought it would find a cute DIY shirt project for those who are interested to try. I have done a few in the past but stopped. I guess I ran out of shirts to design and got caught up in other things. Maybe its time I grab my scissors, needle and thread and try it again! We have had a very busy life lately with a wedding to plan, a two year old and trying to move on with life so all of my crafting has went into the wedding so far. With that said, tonight I will not be sharing my own creation but I will show you how a crafty lady designed a cute top with her own materials around the house! Very simple. Very cute! Lets go!

Meet Jessica!
Anthropologie Inspired Refashion

She runs her own blog like many of us and put step by step instructions on how to create this adorable top! I personally think the bow is cute, especially for spring! Undecided if you want to try this? I'll tell you what, she only used a few things:

A knit shirt or tank top
fabric for the neck and the bow
Scissors and items needed to sew

That's it!

Click here and follow her easy steps to create this cute top =)
Its great to recycle old clothing and make a new style out of it!

Neat Bathroom Ideas!!

Welcome to my blog! Today I thought I would share some neat bathroom ideas that I found while browsing through Pinterest! Who knows, you might want to try them in your own home =)
Check it out:

*NOTE: These are not my creations so please click on the links below the photos and give credit to those who put these up =) Thank you!

Moving along...
The first idea I found was using a plate stand as a holder for your bathroom counter top needs! It saves some space and adds a little style to the room. You can find similar plate stands at a lot of different stores. One being Target.

Bathroom...

Here is the second idea I loved:

Use regular curtains and take rod to the ceiling. hang towel bar above the toilet

Notice the extra long shower curtain idea? I really like the fact that you can open it from the center! Its actually two long window curtains! Move the rod and hang it up below the ceiling instead! Pretty neat!

Next is a cute bathroom sign! Perfect for visitors or just a nice added touch to your home =)

Fun patio furniture!

Good evening readers! Even though spring is having a slow go this year, I am not holding back on my love for summer fun! We got a neat patio set last year. For the life of me I cannot remember where we got it but none the less, I found a few neat sets from Target and Walmart that are great!

We have this from last summer brand new still sitting in our shed waiting to be used so I can't tell you how we like it yet but we heard a lot of good things about these zero gravity chairs =)

Last but not least... I just had to share a cute little find while looking at patio items one day...
Behold... my little owl lawn ornament/garden stake =)

DIY Jewelry Board

Hello there! If you didn't catch my last blog, I was showing off some new items at Target. One was a jewelry board that I really want! With that said, I remembered how I came across a few DIY jewelry boards on Pinterest and figured it was time to find a great blog to share! I had a friend who created their own jewelry board and it turned out really well! Ladies, these are great because you won't need such a large jewelry box. I pretty much only use mine for rings and my more expensive jewelry now. The rest of mine hang from a holder on the wall but its not a jewelry board. These are almost a must!!
I found a blog that shows you step by step how to create your own jewelry board and its really neat! Please click on the source below the photo and give this person the credit because they did a great job!

Adorable Things To Buy

I have a guilty pleasure of shopping but I'm on a strict budget since we are less than a month away from our big day! With that said, I pretty much walked around Target the other day admiring all the things I should wait to buy, ha ha. I'll definitely share with you a couple neat little finds that I came across though!
One part of me loves the rock n roll look with black and red colors. The other part of me however, is a bit girly! I love floral designs and a rustic look!
With that said, I was IN LOVE when I seen this:

I really REALLY want the mirror, adorable jewelry board and floral designed stool! For the life of me I could NOT find some of these items online so as of right now I'm assuming that most of this is sold just in stores.
If you like my style and have similar taste, go pick up a few of these items for your home =)
Check out Target!

Something cute and simple to create!

Hello readers! I decided the other day that our home was missing something. I realized it needed a pop of color and something to make the rooms feel a little more alive?! I went up to Family Dollar and purchased some simple yellow fake flowers for a couple bucks. After that I stopped in quick at Walmart and picked up a sack of vase fillers for less than 5 bucks. I also picked up a frosted jar with a neat bird design which was also less than 5 bucks. Birds and jars are trending right now along with the rustic/glam look! I was able to put together a simple but adorable flower arrangement that really added a lot to our room =)

Two more things...

As I was walking through the store I also noticed that Walmart sells all different sizes of Ball jars with lids and bands. These are also PERFECT for crafts =)

Ball 12-Count Regular Mouth Half-Pint Jars with Lids and Bands
